Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team at Startec Corporate Services. As the first point of contact for our company, you will provide excellent customer service to all visitors and callers, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, callers, and staff
  • Manage appointments, phone calls, and administrative tasks efficiently
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
  • Monitor and order office supplies and office furniture
  • Oversee the Office Services functions on the company's SharePoint site
  • Coordinate and order catering for meetings and events
  • Handle and process cheque deposits accurately
  • Support other departments by preparing company surveys
  • Order and manage the supply of business cards
  • Update company seating maps and organization charts
  • Assist with coordinating company events
  • Coordinate and order gift baskets for client appreciation and employee recognition
  • Manage the swag room, including organizing inventory and ordering promotional supplies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receptionist role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • High level of accuracy in handling documents and data entry
  • Ability to address and resolve inquiries or issues promptly
  • Dependable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security
