We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a leadership role, and possess strong communication skills. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing teams, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Lead include:
1. Ensuring the efficient flow of goods through the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, picking, and packing orders.
2. Maintaining high standards of quality control, including quality assurance, SOP, GPP, and quality control. Previous experience in this area is required to obtain licensure as QAP by Health Canada.
3. Providing guidance and support to team members to ensure seamless operations on the warehouse floor.
4. Identifying and addressing any operational issues that may arise, including those related to health and safety procedures.
5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates on warehouse activities.
6. Meeting production targets with accuracy and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a leadership position.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and RCMP background check.
• Own vehicle for transportation to and from work.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in software programs.
What We Offer
