Senior Vice President Asset Management/Acquisitions Job Description

ATS Automation is seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Acquisitions to lead our Life Sciences Systems division. As a key member of our senior executive team, you will be responsible for driving strategic business plans and objectives, while overseeing all finance functions, including operational accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and project controlling.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic business plans and objectives, aligning with the company's overall vision.
  2. Manage a team of finance leaders, ensuring effective financial management, administration, and control of the division.
  3. Direct all finance functions, including operational accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and project controlling.
  4. Serve as a strategic financial partner with operations executives, actively involved in acquisitions, contract negotiations, financing, and due diligence.
  5. Monitor and report key performance indicators, such as EBIT, cash, and RONA.
  6. Lead the finance team to meet short and long-term objectives, ensuring compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct and adherence to health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of senior financial and controlling experience in a manufacturing, financial, controlling, and cost accounting environment.
  • Expertise in project costing systems, with hands-on experience in designing and managing new business systems.
  • Proven business partner and trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.
  • Visionary leader with proven ability to develop high-performance teams.
