Marmon Industrial Water Limited is seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our New Equipment group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing instrumentation and controls systems for our water and wastewater treatment equipment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop instrumentation and controls systems, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and schematic wiring diagrams.
- Create logic diagrams and cause & effect diagrams to ensure efficient system operation.
- Develop controls systems, panel layouts, and equipment schematics to meet customer requirements.
- Program and test PLCs and HMIs to ensure seamless system integration.
- Make instrument selections and prepare instrument specifications to ensure accurate system operation.
- Plan and organize workflow to meet varying workload demands and adapt to changing priorities.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with project team members and individuals from other disciplines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Professional registration or license in their designated state/province.
- 4+ years of experience in I&C engineering.
- AutoCAD or similar CAD software experience.
- Working knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, SCADA, and communication protocols popular in North America.
- Understanding of process instruments and instrument installation, hook up, tuning, etc.
- Strong problem-solving, accuracy, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, planning, and organizing abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
