Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Canada Kings Carrier Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing professional and courteous service.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as prepare and submit necessary reports.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Communication: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, as well as communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment.
