We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Canada Kings Carrier Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
