Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 10077117 MANITOBA LTD. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Driver Logbook: Maintain a driver logbook and inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence.
Work Environment:
  • On the Road: Work on the road, with regular breaks and rest periods.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, including sitting for extended periods.
