About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sean Reid. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with shopping for food and household supplies, and perform other errands as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
