About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sean Reid. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients have access to the essentials
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Work Environment

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including private residences and community facilities.
