About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sean Reid. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring our clients' physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting dignity and respect.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account our clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients have access to essential items.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Work Environment

Our clients' homes are non-smoking environments, and public transportation is available for those who need it.
