About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to join our team at S.G.D. Transport Ltd. as a key member of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Farm Workers: Oversee the daily activities of farm workers and harvesting laborers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Animal Health and Welfare: Monitor animal health, implement bio-security procedures, and maintain livestock performance records to ensure the well-being of our animals.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate work records, logs, and performance metrics to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to farm workers to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Worksite Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload.
