The Role:

As a Senior Software Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the Software/Firmware component of our industry-leading Pulse Field Ablation product. You will lead a talented team of engineers working on software and firmware development for PFA technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge medical devices to market. With a strong background in software and firmware development, you will guide your team in achieving organizational goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

* Manage a talented team of engineers working on software and firmware development for PFA technology

* Lead Software/Firmware teams in the achievement of organizational and functional goals

* Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports

* Collaborate with senior technical leaders, project management, and inter-disciplinary partners

* Develop detailed work plans, objectives, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports

* Monitor and troubleshoot performance and schedule issues

* Oversee development processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

* BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant degree

* Experience in software/firmware development (C/C++, embedded systems, RTOS) and understanding of hardware/software integration

* 7+ years of work experience in software or hardware engineering

* 4+ years of experience in leading Software/Firmware teams

* Experience in medical device or other highly regulated industries

* Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and project/task management enabling highly effective teams
