Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation to meet resort F&B specifications.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere for guests and staff.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead kitchen staff during working hours.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service and high levels of cleanliness and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume resort or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high levels of performance.
