Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Holiday Inn & Suites. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes to our guests.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering excellent food quality and exceptional customer service. You will be required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Ordering supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Recruiting and hiring staff to join our culinary team
  • Organizing buffets and banquets to meet guest expectations
  • Managing kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and productivity

In addition to your culinary expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also be required to adhere to our company's values and policies, including those related to food safety and customer service.

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. You will also be required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards.
