Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Booster Juice. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, taking into account their availability and the needs of the business.
- Mentorship and Training: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
- Indigenous Support: Provide mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, and offer cultural competency training to all employees.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
