Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nomis Food Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in stock.
  • Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they are aware of the company's policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to management.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, including budget and cost estimates.
