Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Mount Everest Kitchen & Grill.

About the Role

  • As an Executive Culinary Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards and that customers receive excellent service.
  • You will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
  2. Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures;
  3. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation;
  4. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
  5. Address customers' complaints or concerns;
  6. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
  7. Supervise and check assembly of trays;
  8. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.

Requirements

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. hospitality, culinary arts);
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
