Job Title: Area Manager - Retail Operations Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager - Retail Operations Lead to join our team at COBS Bread. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of franchise operators and driving operational excellence across multiple retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and profitability at retail locations.
  • Lead and coach franchise operators to improve their business performance.
  • Assist in the opening of new bakeries and ensure a smooth transition to operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial results and performance metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Support Team to ensure retail franchise bakeries operate to COBS Bread's leading standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a franchise retail environment or multi-site retail management experience.
  • 5+ years' managerial experience, ideally in the food service, hospitality or franchise industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to influence others to affect change.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently.
