Overview

Safran Electrical & Power is a leading player in the global electrical and power sector, and we are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries and concerns, quoting customer RFQs, and reviewing customer orders. They will also be required to input customer orders, create new product forms, and generate customs paperwork as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Quote customer RFQs, including creating formal quotes, collecting pricing, calculating sell price, and advising delivery
  • Review customer orders, including pricing, delivery, special instructions or requirements, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Retrieve customer orders through the internet (experience with Oracle is an asset)
  • Input customer orders, including creating sales orders in the MRP system
  • Create new product forms
  • Generate customs paperwork if applicable for shipments
  • Occasionally provide reception coverage and backup for invoicing when required
  • Perform other various duties as assigned (filing, scanning, etc.)
  • FOLLOW Safran Policies & Procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of customer service experience with inside sales experience being an asset
  • Accurate data entry skills with superior attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Professionalism with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
  • Responsive to company and customer needs
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Highly proficient computer skills in Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of production planning is an asset
  • A condition of employment will be completing a security assessment to ensure eligibility under Canada's Controlled Goods Program

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
