About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our Hardgoods department at Yorkdale Mall. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, coaching and developing your team, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a daily game and sales plan to drive sales growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Cover shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Coaching and developing your department team by setting expectations, providing constructive feedback, and ongoing support.
  • Build relationships with customers and provide mentorship and coaching to your team to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with the store management team, other departments, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • A proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry an asset.
