Intake Assessment Worker
Job SummaryThe All Nations Coordinated Response Network is seeking an experienced Intake Assessment Worker to join our team. As a key member of our child protection services, you will be responsible for providing assessment, case management, and intervention services to families and children in need.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of families and children to identify needs and develop case plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency response services as needed.
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate services and support for families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for families.
- Document all interactions and case activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a child welfare environment, with a focus on assessment and case management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and community resources.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and cooperation.
- Fluency in French and/or an Indigenous language.
- Knowledge of substance abuse, family violence, and child abuse/neglect.
- Experience working with Indigenous families and communities.
