Lakeside Inn and Conference Centre is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair, as well as contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repair
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Ensure the smooth operation of building systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance and repair
  • Strong focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Excellent judgement and a strong work ethic
