We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker - Building and Systems Specialist to join our team at Lakeside Inn and Conference Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contacting tradespersons for major repairs.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years or more of experience in a similar role and possess excellent dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
