About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Project Manager to join our team at GE Steam Power Canada Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet project objectives
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including clients and senior management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success
    • Develop and implement communication plans to ensure effective project communication
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, execution, and delivery
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
