Meat Cutter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Makka Halal Meats and Grocery. As a key member of our grocery store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut and trim carcasses, sides, and quarters to meet customer demands
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and weigh products for sale
- Price meat products and sell them to customers
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in meat cutting and processing is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
Our grocery store operates in a supermarket setting, with a focus on providing high-quality halal meats to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring you to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Language and Work ConditionsThe primary language spoken in our store is English, and we require our employees to be proficient in this language. The work term is permanent, and we offer a competitive hourly rate for this position.
