About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Application Support Specialist, where you will be responsible for providing technical support to our global users. As a key member of our support team, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing issues with our applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to users, resolving issues and escalating complex problems to senior team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve root causes of issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our applications, including their features, functionality, and technical requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our support processes and services.
  • Work closely with our development team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration with our applications.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in application support and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and internal teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and products, including derivatives.
  • Experience with log analysis, monitoring applications, and vendor application analysis tools.
  • Strong SQL scripting skills and proficiency in Unix/Linux.
