About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Climate Engagement Specialist to join our team at the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the development of practical information on the physical impacts of climate change for climate service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Regional Climate Impacts team to research and develop relevant regional summary reports, online resources, and content delivery platforms.
  • Assess user needs through surveys and inform content development accordingly.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain a database of users for outreach and document requests, feedback, and responses.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and lived experience in areas related to the position.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in education, communications, community development, public health, or a related field of study, and 2 years of relevant experience in climate change or a related environmental science field.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations on complex topics and understanding of climate change and its impacts.
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary range of $66,971 - $77,637 per year.
  • A full-time employment period of one year with possible extension to two years.
