At CB Canada, we're seeking a skilled Assistant Branch Leadership candidate to join our team. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in empowering and developing your team of Financial Advisors. Your primary goal will be to understand our members' needs, driving performance and success for the branch. You will be an expert in the sales process and delivering progressive lending and investment services to our members.

The scope of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members' financial fitness
  • Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
  • Monitoring and ensuring financial targets are being met or exceeded for the branch
  • Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking, and 3rd party providers
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Preparing accurate and complete documentation, processing account changes, and handling member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

To qualify, you will need at least 5 years of retail banking experience, including experience as a Financial Advisor and a solid understanding of lending and credit principles.

Although not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
  • Financial Planning I (FP1)
