Job Summary:

As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in the delivery of occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary team. Your leadership skills and experience will enable you to supervise students and team members, while also making day-to-day clinical decisions regarding patient/family needs. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based care, ensure safe and efficient client care, and participate in program development and operational planning. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating the day-to-day operations of an assigned service area, monitoring care delivery, and identifying service needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Facilitate discharge and provide follow-up support to clients
• Complete chart audits and provide feedback to staff
• Participate in program planning and development
• Provide supervision of students and team members as assigned

**Requirements:**

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
