At CB Canada, we're seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for empowering and developing your team of Financial Advisors to drive performance and success for the branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Motivate and coach employees to identify opportunities to enhance members' financial fitness
  • Pursue new business opportunities proactively
  • Monitor and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded for the branch
  • Promote referrals to Wealth Management, Business Banking, and third-party providers
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Provide support, guidance, and training to employees as needed to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Prepare accurate and complete documentation, process account changes, and handle member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of retail banking experience, including experience as a Financial Advisor and a solid understanding of lending and credit principles
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) is an asset
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC), Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA), and Financial Planning I (FP1) certifications are valuable assets
