Senior Industrial Security Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Industrial Security Lead to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight on all aspects of industrial security, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement industrial security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on security-related matters, including access control, clearance levels, and export control.
- Conduct risk assessments and security investigations to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on the latest security regulations and best practices.
- Manage and maintain security clearance levels for employees and contractors.
- Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a security incident.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on security-related topics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- 8+ years of experience in industrial security, with a focus on government regulations and compliance.
- Experience with risk assessments, security investigations, and crisis management.
- Strong knowledge of government regulations, including the Canadian Industrial Security Program and the Contract Security Program.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Experience with access control systems, including SIMS.
- Knowledge of export control regulations and procedures.
- Experience with crisis management planning and implementation.
- Ability to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
