Your Role as Industrial Security Lead:
In the capacity of Industrial Security Lead, you will oversee and implement all aspects of facility security operations. This includes daily security management, personnel security, program support, physical security, information security, document control, and access management. You will be responsible for upholding all corporate security policies and safeguarding L3Harris' intellectual property. This senior position requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of knowledge in Industrial Security, along with the ability to develop, strategize, and manage internal security policies. You must demonstrate independence in decision-making while also being a collaborative team player, capable of adapting to changing priorities and managing customer expectations in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, including government security officials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and clear guidance on security matters to company personnel.
- Support compliance with the Canadian Industrial Security Program, Contract Security Program, Controlled Goods Program, and ITAR.
- Ensure adherence to all physical and intangible security requirements as per corporate policies.
- Manage data management compliance with government and customer security requirements.
- Oversee access control systems and ensure operational integrity of security measures.
- Develop and enforce site-specific security policies and procedures.
- Act as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official for the business unit.
- Coordinate travel security for personnel, including protection plans and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with Corporate Security, IT, and Global Trade Compliance on security policies.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on security protocols.
- Develop and manage the Crisis Management Plan and emergency response strategies.
- Support the Business Continuity Program.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Security with a focus on Controlled Goods, Export Control, and Industrial Security.
- Eligibility for an Industrial Security Clearance at the NATO Secret level.
- Experience in Risk Assessment and Security Investigations.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Knowledge of counter cyber espionage practices is an asset.
- Familiarity with ITP planning and incident response strategies.
- Experience in Insider Threat compliance initiatives.
- Proficient in managing access control systems.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of Cloud technologies.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
- Compliance with U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
