Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on cost management and financial reporting. This is a key role that will provide critical support to our finance team and help drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain program cost tracking metrics, providing timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial forecasts, budgets, and project cost analysis, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Analyze production costs and provide recommendations for improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize resources and reduce expenses.

• Develop standard costing metrics for the maintenance organization, improving the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

• Work with the finance team to maintain project accounting, budgeting, and capital planning systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.

• Professional certification, such as CPA, would be considered an asset.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-divisional organization.

• Proven experience with project accounting and reporting for medium to large-scale projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial systems and data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
