Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Office Operations Coordinator to join our team at Grand River Freight System Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events, as well as ensuring the HR department meets the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Coordinate HR activities to meet organizational goals
- Direct and control daily operations
- Direct staff and evaluate daily operations
- Motivate staff and oversee payroll administration
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Review HR projects for compliance with laws and regulations
- Supervise other workers and train staff
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
- Provide customer service and answer telephone calls and messages
- Respond to employee questions and complaints
Requirements
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- English language
