Job Title: Bookkeeper

B.C. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Sage Accounting Software
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Repetitive tasks, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized
