Job Title: Bookkeeper

B.C. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Sage Accounting Software, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, accurate, excellent written communication, flexibility, and organized.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 35 to 40 hours per week.
