Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at SUBWAY. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide training and coaching to ensure high-quality service.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, order supplies, and manage cash handling and banking procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and implement waste reduction and recycling programs.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including social media and local advertising, to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
