Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality financial services to our clients, including preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, including compilations and review engagements.
- Prepare and review working paper files for income tax returns.
- Perform occasional bookkeeping duties, including preparation or review of investment account reconciliations.
- Maintain client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of returns and schedules.
- Ensure follow-up on notices of assessment.
- Provide support to team members in related tasks and guidance to junior staff as required.
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
- Completed undergraduate degree and a CPA designation.
- Previous experience using various accounting frameworks applicable in Canada (IFRS, ASPE, NPO, and/or Public Sector).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
- Strong time-management and ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Previous use of Tax Prep and CaseView programs beneficial.
