Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting financial modeling on various financial products, measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to assist with the proper execution of budget plans
- Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
- Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks
- Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources
- Assemble and review forecasting reports
- Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives through the development of financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
- Drive P& L forecasting on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis
- Have a thorough understanding of internal and external drivers and be able to explain how they are impacting performance and trending
- Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
- Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

Requirements:
- CPA designation preferred
- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
- Knowledge of variance analysis
- Deep understanding of Manufacturing Variance
