Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the gathering of financial information and administer the communication of timelines with multiple financial and operational areas to consolidate data and provide insights.
  • Prepare financial data and summary information for use in management reporting for presentations across the organization.
  • Build customized financial reports to identify key trends, variances, opportunities for continuous improvement, and measure financial results against budget and forecasts.
  • Support the business in financial planning and forecasting through customized reports that facilitate the performance analysis of business targets, identify areas of risk and opportunities in collaboration with the business.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent finance/accounting designation.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role in Finance or Accounting.
  • Relevant experience with financial analysis, financial modelling, profitability analysis, forecasting and budgeting, strategic planning.
