About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs, designing solutions, and implementing technical changes to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Design and implement technical solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of technical changes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of business processes and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical changes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, with a strong background in technical systems and process improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and technical systems, with the ability to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Cobol, DB2, CICS, VSAM, JCL, SAS, Endevor, and Control-M, with a strong understanding of mainframe technology.
