Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc.

About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and developing technical requirements based on solution documentation, ensuring the integrity of business and technical requirements in end-to-end customer journeys, and driving joint application design solutioning sessions with our architecture, development, and security architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and develop technical requirements based on solution documentation
  • Ensure integrity of business and technical requirements in end-to-end customer journey
  • Drive joint application design solutioning sessions with our architecture, development, and security architecture teams
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders
  • Maintain and curate content in centralized Confluence/SharePoint sites
  • Lead enterprise process engineering development across infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and cryptography teams
  • Create, refine, and maintain product backlog and associated deliverables
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT, ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment of both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Help improve and drive our engineering practices
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a challenging IT system solution agile or lean environment
  • 3+ years' experience with Web Services, including RESTFUL/SOAP (XML & JSON), OpenAPI, OAuth2.0, and Postman
  • 3+ years' experience utilizing Atlassian suite of tools, including JIRA, Confluence
  • 3+ years' experience with microapps and Microservices architecture
Soft Skills
  • Analysis, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to simplify complex situations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Education

Engineering or Computer Science or technical degree preferred
