Key Responsibilities:- Support Business Operations: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide operational management support.
- Product Backlog Management: Assess and align to the prioritized product backlog, ensuring the most important new features, refactoring of existing features, and backlogged defects are addressed.
- Industry Trends: Monitor industry trends and apply relevant knowledge to inform business decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement system enhancements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate stakeholder input to elicit feedback for product enhancements and facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team.
- Project Breakdown: Collaborate with stakeholders to break down larger projects into more granular, prioritized components that can be released individually.
- Business Requirements: Work with stakeholders and the development team to articulate business requirements for new product feature implementation.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other delivery teams, including Enterprise Architecture, Software Development, QA, Deployment Management, Security, and Defect Management, to execute projects or release vehicles.
- System Development: Work closely with the application development and quality assurance teams during all stages of the system development life cycle, bridging the gap between business and technology.
- User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate and assist users during the user acceptance testing cycle as required.
- 7+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
- 5+ years of experience with tools JIRA, Confluence
- 5+ years of experience working on large program/project initiatives with technology and/or technology components
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with process re-engineering
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
- Financial Services experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Openness to ideas, willingness to take on any task or role, focus on the customer, and a constant view of the big picture
Degree not required – value work experience more. Agile/CSM/Scrum certifications an asset.
