Job Title: Freight Forwarding Logistician

International Fastline Forwarding Inc is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Logistician to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse and work area
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports as required
  • Project manage logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
  • Communicate effectively with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Follow up on issues with work orders to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
