Job Title: Freight Forwarding Logistician

International Fastline Forwarding Inc is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Logistician to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs.
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse and work area.
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports and other documentation as required.
  • Project manage tasks and activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders.
  • Follow up on issues with work orders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software experience.
  • MS Office skills.
