Archival Records Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an Archival Records Specialist to assist in the safekeeping of official records for the County and those maintained by the Oxford County Archives. This role will also involve administering requests under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
Responsibilities- Assist in the safekeeping of all official records for the County and those maintained by the Oxford County Archives.
- Administer requests under MFIPPA and PHIPA.
- Post-secondary education in an Archives or Library Technician program is required.
- Knowledge of local history and familiarity with archival procedures and practices are assets.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- High level of interpersonal, communication, and customer relations skills are necessary.

A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement.
