Job Summary

Rise and Shine Daycare & OSC is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Help maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Contribute to staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any challenges they may be facing.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Experience in childcare is an asset.
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
