Cloud Support Specialist

At OpenText, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud production support team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting OpenText Content Suite solutions deployed within the OpenText Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve customer technical requests, understanding the customer's managed hosted environment and applications within the OpenText Cloud to solve complex technical issues.
  • Operate, manage, and administer production applications such as Content Suite while adhering to documented policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot alerts from applications, servers, and devices to meet service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Support, IT, Network Operations, and Professional Services, to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
  • A university/college degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a technical support role.
  • Experience with OpenText Exstream Suite / Teamsite Suite is an asset.
  • Experience delivering service within an ITIL-based service delivery model.
  • Windows, UNIX, and Application administration skills in a TCP/IP networked environment.
  • Experience working with relational DBMS (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL/Postgres, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with configuration and management of web/application servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc.).
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
