About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Verace Italian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our Italian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, ensuring they meet our high culinary standards.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs in preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and special occasions.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
