Job Title: Sous Chef

Verace Italian Restaurant is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our Italian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
  • Create new recipes and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, and inspect kitchens and food service areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and reliability
